GETTING THE POINT Two men are arguing a point and after a heated debate, a winner emerges while the other continues to ponder. Carved and painted wood.	GETTING THE SHOT Not only fearful but embarrassed, the young man has dropped his pants with a great deal of trepidation, preparing for Getting the Shot. Carved and painted wood.
GOAL Much of what Sol creates comes from observations of his own life and the lives of those around him. Sol's wife has always battled to lose weight, and often the efforts were futile. But then she joined Jenny Craig and finally got down to the weight she wanted to be. The scale became a friend, as did the products which are on the table: skim milk and some Jenny Craig products. When this scene really happened, joy reigned supreme.	I SAW IT FIRST Uh, oh. Someone dropped some money on the ground. Each one of these young men is claiming it - and you can be sure that neither one is going to try to find the owner of the cash. It's just like winning the lottery - but each one is going to claim to have the winning ticket.
KEEPING WARM A cold day in the park. We have all seen someone homeless, huddling over a trash can in which wood has been shoved and lit to provide some warmth on this very cold day. This homeless person has his hands over the flame to try to warm them. Sol created this piece and electrified the trash can. When it is turned on, the trash can turns red and it really looks as if there is a fire inside.	KNITTING Sol's wife is trying to knit while the cat is doing everything she can to disrupt the process.

LIGHTING THE SABBATH CANDLES The woman of the house is lighting the Sabbath candles and conferring blessings on all seated around the table. This happens every Friday night just before the Sabbath meal.
